This is a ‘real’ off road (bush bashing) navigation event in the bush around Cowan (originally set up for the RFS). It does require some compass navigation skills, and maps will be provided at the time.
What is it? A bush Rogaine is exactly as a normal Rogaine however you are heading through untracked bush. Your faithful companion is a compass (so make certain you know how to use it!)
Given a map and a clue sheet and with those two tools and your trusty compass you will check your way through the untracked bush to find a number of other clues in the wilderness.
Who?: Everyone. With this event involving a bit of bush bashing we recommend ages 8 and over. All rules have exceptions so if you feel that your child is suited to this event then we will happily include him/her.
