Turn-by-turn directions
Follow the numbered cues from Warrina Street Oval to Berowra Waters and back.

Start at the Warrina Street Oval car park and head up Woodcourt Road.

Turn left onto Alan Road.

At the roundabout, turn right onto Turner Road.

Turn left onto Alston Drive.

At the end of Alston Drive, enter the bush track.

Continue along the bush track. It frequently crosses rock faces, so follow the most obvious worn route.

At the signed intersection with the Great North Walk, turn left.

Continue down the Great North Walk steps towards Berowra Waters.

At the end of the track, continue along Kirkpatrick Way.

Cross Berowra Waters Road carefully to rejoin the Great North Walk.

Continue up the Great North Walk steps on the northern side of the road.

At the track junction, turn left. Take care: the Great North Walk sign points right, but this route goes left.

At the fire trail, turn right.

Exit the fire trail at the end of Currawong Road.

Turn right onto Berowra Waters Road.

Continue straight through the Alan Road roundabout.

Turn right onto Woodcourt Road and finish at the Warrina Street Oval car park.
Alternative return: From Berowra Waters, return via Berowra Waters Road instead of climbing the Great North Walk. This road option is approximately 9.3 km and is not necessarily quicker. A shorter early cut-out is to turn around at Alston Drive.
